Free Fourth of July Fireworks Around Central Florida
Every Independence Day, the skies over Orlando are set ablaze with magnificent bursts of light in celebration of our freedom. Instead of spending money on their own fireworks, residents and visitors in The City Beautiful are encouraged to get out and enjoy a spectacular firework display that doesn’t cost a dime. From Winter Park and Altamonte Springs to Winter Garden and Kissimmee, here are several free fireworks displays that Central Florida offers on the Fourth of July.
Red Hot & Boom
The City of Altamonte Springs and XL 106.7 continue their tradition of honoring Independence Day with their spectacular rain or shine bash at Cranes Roost Park. Held on Wednesday, July 3, Red Hot & Boom features dazzling fireworks, scrumptious eats, and entertaining live music. This year, the free party starts at 4 p.m. and concludes at 11 p.m. with the fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.
Independence Day Bash
Baldwin Park’s Independence Bash is also held on July 3, just outside of downtown Orlando on 4990 New Broad Street. The free family and pet-friendly festival starts at 6 p.m. in the Village Center with live music, a kiddie fun zone, over 100 food vendors, and a beer garden open until 11 p.m. The grand fireworks show over Lake Baldwin goes off at 9:15 p.m.
Fireworks at the Fountain
Each year on July 4, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer invites the community to Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando to celebrate our independence with free entertainment that includes live music, a kids’ play area, a beer garden, and a beautifully-synchronized firework show. Festivities at the 42nd annual event begin at 4 p.m.
Monumental 4th of July
Kissimmee’s annual July 4th event offers free fun for the whole family, which includes craft beer and food vendors, a KUA Kids Zone, and a grand fireworks finale. While the event is free and open to the public, guests can also purchase VIP passes to see live performances by famous artists — to be announced closer to the event. The party begins at 5 p.m. and continues until 9:30 p.m. at Kissimmee Lakefront Park.
4th of July Lakefront Celebration
This Saturday, July 4, head over to St. Cloud, join the crowd, and countdown the clock until the highly anticipated fireworks extravaganza sets off. The exact time and location for the 74th annual Independence Day celebration will be revealed closer to the event date, but you’re guaranteed to experience family-friendly activities, live music, and plenty of celebratory eats on Independence Day.
Kissimmee’s Monumental July 4th Celebration

Last year’s event was hosted by NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and featured live music from Doug E. Fresh, C+C Music Factory, and the Gerry Williams Band. While the event is free and open to the public, guests can purchase VIP passes to the performances which will be announced closer to the event.
