Late November is a time for Americans to give thanks for everything. But earlier in the month, on Veterans Day, we focus on thanking those who have served our country.
Many Orlando area attractions offer discounts for veterans or retired military personnel. Some deals are good year-round. Others are November 11 exclusives. All are heartfelt shows of gratitude. If you’re a veteran planning an Orlando vacation, enjoy savings at these attractions.
1. The Wheel at ICON Park
The majestic Wheel at ICON Park rises 400 feet above International Drive. At the top, you’ll get a stunning glimpse of Orlando’s theme parks, lakes, and downtown district.
Active and retired military personnel get a 25% discount all year. During November, ICON Park offers free rides to these service members. Military families will receive half off their Ferris wheel rides.
2. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
Take the Beachline Expressway to the Space Coast for an out-of-this-world day at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC).
